Pulmonary/Critical Care Opportunity
Excellent opportunities for BC/BE Pulmonologist/Critical Care physician in central Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
Lung Associates is a five-person group with its office on the BWMC campus. It offers office based pulmonary medicine and hospital pulmonary and critical care consultative services.
Physician will be on staff at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. BWMC is a suburban community hospital consisting of 311 beds with a medical staff of 600+ physicians, affiliated with the University of Maryland. BWMC's services include a freestanding Comprehensive Cancer Center, Joslin Diabetes Center, Wound Healing Center, The Maryland Vascular Center, Joint & Spine Centers and the Aiello Breast Center. BWMC recently opened a 6 story patient tower, which includes 111 private medical surgical beds, a state of the art 24 bed intensive care unit, and a new obstetrical unit targeted to open in the Fall of 2009. A physician referral program provided by the Hospital is also in-place to enhance and/or develop patient clientele.
Baltimore Washington Medical Center is situated near the Chesapeake Bay, an enticing place to live, play and work because of the diversified lifestyles that are offered. The Hospital is located between Baltimore, Washington and Annapolis thus providing easy access to cultural, recreational and education opportunities.
