Nursing and Allied Health Professionals Scholarship Fund

Administrators at Baltimore Washington Medical Center receive letters every day that praise the nurses and allied health professionals for the excellent patient care they provide.

To support these valued professionals and offer them an opportunity to further their education, the Baltimore Washington Medical Center Foundation established a Scholarship Fund.

This fund is supported by charitable donations from physicians, community members, and business leaders who make gifts to invest in the continuing education of our nursing and allied health staff, like patient care technicians, radiation technicians, and respiratory therapists. Grants are awarded on an annual basis to hospital associates who need support to complete degree programs, meet professional qualifications or to enter a nursing or allied health field.

We invite you to support our professionals by making a donation to the Scholarship Fund. You can, if you wish, honor or recognize a particular nurse, technician or allied health professional when making your gift. We will let the individual know you have chosen to honor them, without referencing the gift amount.
