Medical-Surgical/Gerontology (4th Floor)

Teamwork and flexibility are the by-words for the 4th Floor. As a 35-bed medical-surgical unit, our specialties are gastroenterology and pulmonology. A section of the 4th Floor is devoted to geriatric patients in our GEM (Geriatric Evaluation and Management) unit. Patients admitted to this unit have a history of mental status changes. The unit is set up for close observation and staffed for extra 24-hour attention to these special patients.

Many of the 4th Floor nurses are certifies, and many others have years of experience, offering a unique and saisfying learning atmosphere for the new graduate. If you want to be surrounded by friendly, cooperative, knowledgeable and experienced nurses, plus an excellent support staff, the 4th Floor is the place to be.
